Brief introduction to the treatment principle

Lasers of specific wavelengths are selectively absorbed by the melanin or tattoo pigment in the affected area. Picosecond lasers release energy in an extremely short time, one trillionth of a second, primarily producing a strong "photoacoustic effect" that shatters the pigment into extremely small particles; nanosecond lasers, on the other hand, break down the pigment through "photothermal effects" and "photomechanical effects." Both types of lasers are then metabolized and cleared by the body's immune system.
